Working Visit of the Director General of Health Human Resources

Monday (21/4) Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya received a working visit from the Director General of Health Human Resources. The Director General of Health Human Resources was supposed to be present at Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya to conduct coaching and field inspections, on this occasion represented by the Director of Health Human Resources Provision and the Secretary of the Directorate General of Health Human Resources. Upon arrival at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya campus, the group attended a forum attended by a number of employees in the Integrated Laboratory Hall.

In his remarks, the Director of Health Human Resources Provision conveyed several points including that Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya must optimize the ratio of lecturers and students. Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya must increase promotional efforts in accepting new students. Another important point conveyed was that career development of lecturers to the level of Senior Lecturer and Professor has been discussed at the Directorate General of Health Human Resources. Furthermore, Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya must also increase the absorption of its graduates. For overseas graduates, the Directorate General of Health Human Resources will improve the operational definition of its performance indicators.

The working visit was continued with a review of the field and infrastructure of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya. The Directorate General of Health Human Resources group reviewed the primary clinic, the integrated library with CBT facilities, and the international class of the Nursing Department. Next, the Directorate General of Health Human Resources team continued their journey to Poltekkes Kemenkes Malang.
