STP Extravaganza: Innovation Bridge between Education and Healthcare Industry

Pekalongan, September 26, 2024 . The STP Extravaganza activity in the context of launching the Science Techno Park (STP) and business matching of the Ministry of Health Polytechnic was successfully held on September 25-26, 2024 at the STP of the Ministry of Health Polytechnic on Jl. Raya Karanganyar, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. This event was attended by high-ranking and pratama officials within the Ministry of Health, directors of the Ministry of Health Polytechnic throughout Indonesia, regional officials, and research lecturers.

The official opening of the STP building was carried out by the Director General of Health Workers, drg. Arianti Anaya, MKM, who was accompanied by the Director of Health Workforce Provision, Dra. Hj. Oos Fatimah Rosyati, M.Kes. The Director General of Health Workers, drg. Arianti Anaya, MKM also launched the X-Ray Machine Suitability Testing Institute and the ET Sterilizer. In her speech, drg. Arianti Anaya said that STP will be a bridge between academic innovation and industrial needs, as well as encourage the development of higher quality health products.

During the two-day event, a number of significant achievements were achieved. STP Poltekkes Kemenkes was introduced to industry, universities, and the general public, creating broad collaboration opportunities. The business matching session allowed Poltekkes lecturer researchers to collaborate with industry players, thus connecting academic research with real needs in the market.

A total of 123 innovative products were exhibited in six island booths, displaying various research results from institutions. Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya also participated by displaying its superior products, including: 1. ECG Monitor (Medical Devices and In Vitro Diagnostics) 2. Incu Analyzer (Health Supporting Machines and Tools) 3. Sukocimut (Food and Beverage Ingredients) 4. Chlorinator (Health Supporting Machines and Tools) 5. Castor Leaf Extract Gel Compress (Pharmaceutical Preparations)

This event not only succeeded in socializing the existence and services of STP, but also strengthened the relationship between the world of higher education and the industrial sector. With the launch of the ET Conformity Testing and Sterilizer Institute, Poltekkes Kemenkes demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of health services in Indonesia.
