New Steps of Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya Towards International Class Education

Surabaya, August 21, 2024 Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya is proud to announce the implementation of a coaching teaching activity that took place today in the Integrated Laboratory Hall. This activity is the result of a collaboration between WHO Indonesia and WHO SEARO, and is specifically designed for international class students of the Nursing Department.

This event was attended by the Director of Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya, Deputy Director, Head of Academic and General Affairs, as well as the management of the directorate and department, along with students from the international class of nursing. The presence of Mrs. Ai Tanimizu, RN, BScN, MN, a representative from WHO SEARO, added meaning and weight to this activity.

This coaching teaching activity aims to introduce the latest learning methods with global standards, which are expected to improve the quality of education and create a more competitive academic atmosphere. This activity is in line with the vision of Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya to prepare students to be ready to compete in the international job market.

Seeing the success of this activity, Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya hopes that similar initiatives can be implemented in other departments such as Midwifery, Environmental Health, Medical Laboratory Technology, Dental Health, Electro-medical Technology, and Nutrition. With this expansion, all departments at Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya are expected to benefit from the same international standard learning experience.
