ICOHPS 2024 International Health Conference Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya

Surabaya, September 19, 2024 � Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya successfully held the 7th International Conference of Health Polytechnic Ministry of Health Surabaya (ICOHPS 2024) which took place at The Southern Surabaya Hotel on September 18-19, 2024. Carrying the theme "Orchestrating the Six Pillars of Health Care Transformation to Combat Catastrophic Diseases," this conference aims to facilitate discussions on the transformation of the health system in facing the challenges of serious diseases.

This conference includes eight sub-conferences, including the International Conference on Health Community Development (ICOHCD), International Conference on Nursing And Public Health (ICONPH), International Conference on Midwifery (ICOMID), International Conference on Medical Laboratory Technology (ICOMLT), International Conference on Environmental Health (ICOEH), International Conference on Nutrition (ICON), International Conference on Dental and Oral Health (ICODOH), International Conference on Electronics, Biomedical Engineering and Health Informatics (ICEBEHI) ICEBEHI).

ICOHPS 2024 presents a number of international keynote speakers, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Christine I. Reyes, from Centro Escolar University Philippines, Prof. Ts. Seow Ta Wae from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Dr. Shawn Walker from University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Dr. Anshad Ansari from Oral Health Therapy Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore, Neil Madulara, PhD, RN, MAN, MBE from Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology Philippines. Asst. Prof. Dr. Chotiros Plabplueng from Mahidol University Thailand, Dr. Santhra Segaran Balan, Ph D from Management and Science University Malaysia, Prof. Leopoldo Angrisani from Electrical and Electronic Measurements University of Naples Federico II Italy.

Among the speakers, Dr. Santhra Segaran Balan, Ph.D., from Management and Science University Malaysia, was present onsite as the keynote speaker. The plenary session was followed by a question and answer (Q&A) session that gave participants the opportunity to have a direct discussion with Dr. Santhra. The plenary, panel, and parallel sessions allowed participants to share knowledge and discuss current issues.
